If Desktop Icon Disappeared/Deleted.

If Desktop Icon Disappeared/Deleted. Follow the below steps to restore it.

Open Notepad

Paste the text bellow

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar] Command=ToggleDesktop

Save the file as Desktop.scf and drag it to your Quick Launch bar.
